He signed for the German outfit for 21million back in 2015 in Shakhtar Donetsk, but despite being heralded as a future first-team fixture, he has struggled this season under Carlo Ancelotti.
He is battling Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben for a place out wide and is frequently used as an impact substitute.
Clearly that status quo has irked Costasomewhat and he has warned Bayern bosses that unless they tie him down then he will play elsewhere next season.
SunSportreported in February how he said he was unhappy with the German champions.
And after netting against Arsenal in the second leg of Bayerns 10-2 aggregate thrashing, he repeated those sentiments.
He said: I speak to the club often. We talk about my situation, if Ill stay here or if I have to find another team to play for. Im not always that happy here. But soon we will find a situation.
ButBayern president Uli Hoeness has accused the player of trying to hold the club to ransom.
He has described Costas actions as a desperate attempt to get a higher salary.
Hoeness added: That doesnt work with us he can try ten more times, he is certainly not a hardship case.
