If she is found guilty then no, as you cannot gain from the benefits of crime, but if she is not charged or found guilty then the insurance company should pay out.

In addition to going to jail, she would not receive any money from life insurance.
I guess you could say murder is kinda frowned upon.

Not if she gets caught.
Of course, there's always the possibility of making it look like an accident or suicide to trick the insurance company into paying.
