Since you are only 20 years of age, you are in the high range of persons who
have the most accidents. Therefore you are high risk. You pay the highest
insurance premiums until you are at least 25 years old.
I pay a little over $100. per month and have a luxury car. The difference is huge.

How many tickets and accidents do you have? ?? Keep shopping.
Ask for discounts, good student discount, good driver discount, multi-car discount, multi-line discount, ect. Keep shopping! And, get all the quotes emailed or mailed to you so you can compare them.
What state do you live in? California and New York are very expensive, but not as much as you were quoted.

I pay under $100 a month and that's for liability insurance coverage much higher than the minimums, plus collision and full comprehensive, on two cars. But I've been driving for over 40 years with no accidents for almost that long and no tickets in over 30.

Depending on your state, the average ANNUAL premium is in the $1,000-1,100 range.
You have a couple of serious violations on your record...without question.

I pay less now because I am now older than you. When I was younger, I paid more than I do now.
Your quote is what it is because you are insisting on getting insurance only for yourself. Having no one 25 or older on the insurance makes it more expensive. Even if your parents don't drive, convincing one of them to get a license and join you on the insurance, so that there is someone older than 25, may reduce the price.

I pay $62 a month, you're getting ripped off if you're not lying about how much you pay.

That's not right. When I got my license, car, and insurance all in the same month, I was 19. I only paid about $130 per month for my insurance. I'm in the military though so that may affect it.

I pay about $660 a year. At $1000 a month, I would give away the car and do a lot of walking
