Benefits at ALDI.
All full-time employees will receive the following:
Industry-leading wages
Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance & Prescription Coverage
Generous vacation time & 7 paid holidays
401(k) plan with employer matching contribution
Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance
Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Dependent Life Insurance
It appears to have decent benefits. UNLESS someone that reads this question and works for Aldi's, will you get an answer, which is unlikely.
IF, they hire her, they will give her a benefit package that she can see how much they will deduct from her wages on any benefits she chooses or not.
Personally, if her main reason for being hired there is based on how much the health insurance costs, deductibles, co-pays etc, then my guess is that either you, spouse or child needs a lot of medical care, and if so, they may "note" on her record to look out, since if so, she may have to take a lot of time off for medical treatment, and they could let her go.

When she is OFFERED the job, she can ask to see the specifics regarding their health insurance.
Do you really think a large employer has one health plan option and the cost of 3 people is always the same regardless of county/state, if the 3 people are the employee + sp + child vs employee + 2 chidlren, etc, etc. ?
However, if she is as near-sighted as you, Aldi shouldn't hire her. In what world does offering her health insurance make the job feasible?!?! The income is what makes the job feasible!!! If they offer her $20 an hour and don't pay a dime of insurance costs vs $14 an hour and the insurance is fully paid for, the $20 an hour job still brings your family more income!!!

She has made it through 2 rounds of interviews. She's on the last interview. They have made it clear that they want her. I just need to know if the job is feasible.

If those things are a deciding factor in taking the job your wife should have asked those questions at the first interview.
