it will be subject to your deductible and coinsurance - so don't bet on getting out of it for free.

more than likely would be covered but you might read your policy to see what is covered
you very likely have a deductible you have to pay and if you don't need medical care very often you very likely will pay some of the costs

not totally, what is your deductible? What percentage of your claim do you pay?

You are probably covered but I hear that rabies shots are painful.

I guess stupidity is it's own reward. Since you can't be bothered to even call your health insurance to ask a simple question you may just have to die from rabies. If the animal even had it.

You can call and ask. Covered treatment, sure. Copays and deductibles apply...yup.

You will need to check your insurance details.

If you've got $100 and health insurance then it means you're an adult. "My friends bet me..." is a reason that children do stupid things.
If concerned about the possibility of being bitten then the obvious thing to do is not do it in the first place. Even if you're covered will $100 be worth your time and that of the medical staff, your pain and possible insurance premium increase?

Risk is not worth the reward. It's not a matter of IF you get bitten. It's a matter of how badly you'll get bitten and what other than just rabies are you risking. Just go earn $100 and don't pet raccoons.

Health insurance covers animal bites, but if you get rabies, then it won't matter whether insurance covers anything, because you will still die. Health insurance won't save your life if you get rabies.
