ACA did not change the law that allowed adult children not claimed by parents as a dependent could be included on the health insurance of the parents
once you turn 26 you are on your own

The majority of the changes that Trump is trying to do are unlikely to take effect for the 2018 plans

Probably. While Trump is trying, it doesn't seem likely that he will be successful.

That's one of the few things people want to keep, but don't assume it will be, because Trump's dishonest and a moron.

Yes. The law says you can stay until you turn 26 years old.

Nothing has changed yet. The way that things are going in DC these days, don't look for any material changes any time soon.
POTUS might be able to fiddle with some of the funding through HHS but cannot change the basic law. The age 26 coverage is part of the basic law.

Current plans likely wont be affected very much.

You should read the current Republican bill. We dont know which one will be approved or what the provisions are. I think anyone over 21 should be responsible for their own health care. No, Mr. Trump has never said he wants to end the coverage for those up to 26. Get a job and pay for your insurance. Or go to the county health clinic. Stop whining.
