What was the cancellation date? Loyalty is irrelevant, if you don t pay, they are required by law to cancel.
If you ve been a good customer, they should be willing to re-write, but the policy may actually cancel and it has nothing to do with loyalty. The loyalty gets you a re-write or reinstatement (possibly with a lapse).

You are only guilty of a minor infraction if you are a loyal customer of more than 30 years. They will give you leeway this time around, with no ramifications.

You have a contract with them that says you'll pay a certain amount on a set date. Loyalty doesn't have anything to do with it.

Not likely. If they were dropping you they would have sent you a letter than phoning you to remind you that your payment is overdue. You can phone the office Monday and confirm it.

I doubt it has anything to do with how long you have been a customer.
Industry standard for auto insurance is that it will lapse after 7 days of non-payment.
- when they called/ dropped off the payment what did they tell you about lapse in coverage
For health insurance, by law, if you pay within 30 days your coverage won't lapse.

They will most likely want to keep you as a customer.
