Before this affordable care act was put in place I had a lower premium and better coverage. Since Obama my health insurance has quadrupled and my coverage is absolute ****. So shitty to the point that I might as well not have it.

$20-40...that's never been the pricing of any health insurance...
You may have a significantly subsidized rate, but your health insurance still cost more than that...it was paid for by your neighbors...

"affordable" is meaningless.

"Affordable" health insurance that was "like $20 or $40 a month" was never going on.
The insurance that was that cheap was never considered "affordable".
To meet all the requirements to use the word "affordable" always cost more than that.
"Affordable" insurance still exists, and in some cases, the cost has actually gone down, but it still hasn't gotten that low.
There is no "affordable" insurance that cheap -- and there never was.

'cheap and good' or 'cheap and adequate' are not the same

Yes, if your income is low enough to qualify.

Nothing has been changed, another hike is expected this year as last years was, My health plan renews every April, 33% hike, but 30 is what was expected for this year anyways. If you are only paying 30 bucks or so a month, then you have a subsidized plan, you options will be even more limited, don't know how subsidized plans are effected by the cost increase though.

There is no health insurance for that price that complies with the ACA.
