Eligibility for such welfare programs as Medi-Cal is based on income & assets of all persons residing in the household, related or not. You must report change in household composition & update your records immediately.

Yes, all household income gets combined and you have to report any household changes within 10 days to your Medi-Cal case worker, and you both may become ineligible, its possible. Income limits depend on your county.

if you relative has an ongoing CASE w/Medical, then moving will not affect that, but if you are referring to either of you being still eligible for Medical, then that's a different thing...............you would need to contact Medical and ask them, not strangers on YA who don't know the correct advice for you
