The 12th annual Tour de Dickinson Family Bike Ride on Aug. 18, sponsored by the Dickinson County Bike Path, was another great success. Without about 50 volunteers, the community and the sponsors, it would not have been possible.

Likes the IM farmers market but not the fees
The city of Iron Mountain encourages residents to visit the downtown area and shop local. The farmers market across from the library on Saturday mornings in late spring, summer and fall does just that but for a fee.
This does not seem like a win-win situation, as downtown businesses benefit from the market. Do not discourage new vendors or past vendors from returning.
Visit the market it has so much to offer and is a friendly and meet-your-neighbor place.
