Liability covers you for injuries you cause to others. It may not even cover property damage to cause to others. It DEFINITELY doesn't cover this.
We have no idea of the cost of repair, but the cost will be coming out of your pocket.

No. Liability insurance will never, ever cover anything that happens to the car of the person with the insurance. Liability insurance can only cover what you do to someone else, such as hitting them with your car. The only way that liability insurance might be able to cover damage from a tree falling on a car is if someone who doesn't own the car caused the tree to fall (for example, if the owner of the tree saw it was dead but didn't cut it down, or if another driver crashed another car into the tree and made it fall on your car), and that person, the person who caused the tree to fall, had liability insurance. In that situation, their liability insurance might cover what happened to your car. But your own liability insurance cannot.

Liability ins will not cover it. How long and how much to fix depends on how bad it is.

TALK to your insurance agent.

If you don't have comprehensive coverage on your insurance, you're out of luck. Liability insurance doesn't cover damage to your vehicle.

Liability insurance does not cover this. Talk to your insurance agent about the coverage you have, the deductible. Compare car repair estimates - costs & time to complete - from several reputable car repair places, as well as from the Nissan dealer. But from your info here, if you lack comprehensive coverage, you are out of pocket on this.

If all you have is liability ins. You're screwed. No one will pay but you.

Unfortunately, you just learned why trying to save a couple dollars on your insurance can cost you later. Now you have to use that saving to pay for your own repairs. Lots of friends in college also learned that the hard way. I'm sorry that happened to you.

Liability insurance only covers you if you are in an accident that is your fault. Acts of God like a tree falling on your car would not be covered, which means the only way your car gets repaired is you paying for it out of pocket. Is the car drivable? If the damage is on the back part of the car and it still drives, you may be able to postpone the repairs. But you probably want to check with your local police to make sure if you have taillight damage you won't get in trouble driving around like that. The last thing you need is to get pulled over and ticketed for driving without properly functioning brake/tail lights.
